We've suffered a recent loss of our 14 y/o fur baby Max, and feel it's time to make a new addition. My friend is located in Kissimmee and is looking for a Chow Rescue Group who can take this very sweet little boy and give him all the TLC he deserves. However, the search for breeders in the North East is treacherous. 5 year old chow's hair is coming out in clumps on her back legs. I don't understand why the vet visits, the tests, the surgeries cost SO much in the US . any answers?. this just started. My rescues are all microchipped, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated before they come to you. Jun 11, 2005 · I rescue chows and chow mixes in South Carolina. Those prices are just ridiculous. When I adopted Walter he had a skin issue that was just starting to develop. Some I rescue from bad situations and some I foster for a local humane society and find them all wonderful homes. I adopted him 3 weeks ago and he is such a sweet animal and behaves so well everywhere he goes. I have had much success , but unfortunatly I see more chows euthanized than I care to see due to overpopulation . any answers?
