Chevy 350 tbi stalls when put in gear. 7 TBI motor and automatic transmission. So I went back to how it was Nov 8, 2009 · :neutral: Ok, guysI joined this forum just for this problem. It will correct itself after about 5 seconds, can usually correct it a little quicker by revving. 7 tbi. I suspected the throttle position sensor, but unplugging it only made things worse. Idles fine and when revved in park or neutral it revvs fine but when put in gear and trying to accelerate it starts bogging and will stall if I dont let off the gas. Every time I put her on drive or reverse she bogs down and dies unless you brake/gas at the same time. Can it be the stall conv.
